Over the years, we have seen plenty of variants from the XC60, like the T5, T6, or D4, with amazing aftermarket builds, with the carmaker`s tuning division recently adding the T8 to its collection.

In a recent interview about the car`s new performance kit, Henrik Fries, Vice President at Polestar, has declared that their goal is to build powerful Volvo models for their exclusive clients “who want an enhanced driving experience.”

And “the new XC60 has provided us with an excellent base to work on with a dynamic chassis and a state of the art powertrain. With the Polestar optimization, it makes the new Volvo XC60 a true driver`s car”, Fries also concluded.

That being said, we are dealing here with 421 horsepower under the hood, which makes it extremely fast from 0 to 100 km/h. Besides the new power kit, the model remains a low-emission SUV, with a consumption of just 2.1 L/100 km. The electric range is also set at 45 kilometers.

The recently unveiled 2015 Volvo XC90 is more outstanding, the body kit received from the Heico Sportiv tuner making it more evolved from a visual standpoint. And a lot of new body features can be visible up front as well as at the rear end.

The 2015 Volvo XC90 by Heico Sportiv has received new front bumper with integrated fog lights, new side skirts as well as a roof spoiler. At the rear end, the SUV was also equipped with a revised rear apron, as well as a bespoke sport exhaust system with four oval tailpipes.

The Heico Sportiv have also fitted the 2015 Volvo XC90 with the Selected Sound functionality, which adds up a more aggressive engine roar. The overall body kit could not have been completed without the fitting of a new set of 22-inch alloy wheels.

Under the hood, there were no upgrades carried out, from what we presently know. More than that, the Heico Sportiv tuner has not released any prices on their latest 2015 Volvo XC90 creation!

Styling improvements include new 18- and 19-inch alloy wheels in Bright Silver, Graphite Matt and Black finishes, new side skirts, front apron and rear diffuser.

Inside we find high quality materials, new trim and a revised steering wheel. The diesel range gets several performance improvements, the most important one being for the D4 engine.

The standard engine develops 174hp and 400Nm of torque, but a new ECU unit increases the figures to 192hp and 480Nm of torque which means that the 0-100 km/h sprint is now possible 1 second faster. A retuned suspension system with sport springs lowers the ground clearance by 30mm.

However, if you cannot afford the D4 variant, Heico Sportiv provides power upgrades for the D3 and D2 models as well.

At this moment, the tuning company provides no packages for the petrol power plants but says that they are under development.
