But people see things from different perspectives, which is also the case of the owner of this MINI JCW seen here, the model looking custom-built with some styling parts from famous German tuner AC Achnitzer.

The tuner is well-known for its special power kits, developing custom programs for different models, BMW particularly. But it also offers solutions for models like MINI, cheaper or more expensive.

In case you own a Cooper S, then you can have it upgraded under the hood with a new kit, which raises the car`s power from 192 horsepower to a good 235 horsepower. The high-end JCW is also put for a show down the tuner`s shop.

This one seen here has received a slight power boost, meaning 33 horsepower extra, from the stock 231 horsepower, raising it to an overall of 265 horsepower. Not bad considering the wild engine sound delivered by the new exhaust system with the “Track Mode” valve control coming with remote control.

The technicians from AC Schnitzer can also add some other goodies, like “Sport” and “Sport Black” tailpipes, custom front splitter, rear skirt film, rear “Technology & Design” emblem or the standout 19-inch alloys with new suspension for greater stance and stability.

AC Schnitzer are well-known for their professional tuning programs and their latest project added to their portfolio is a power upgrade carried out on this outstanding MINI JCW.

It involves the fitting of new body and mechanical goodies, along with a hefty dosage of adrenaline underneath its skin.

The way they have worked their magic on other models, the technicians from AC Schnitzer have first installed some tweaks, including a front splitter, new dampers with electronic control, adding new lowering springs and new exhaust system with sport rear muffler.

To make things complete, the engineers have also added a new set of light alloy wheels, finished in black and which provide the model with a proper attitude.

But the best part is the fine tune under the hood. For this particular model, AC Schnitzer chose a power kit that would make it extremely fast on the road. We are dealing here with a power kit which increases the car`s performance from 231 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque to a good 265 horsepower and 390 Nm of torque.

Equipped with the new kit, the MINI JCW by AC Schnitzer is now capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.0 seconds, which is pretty impressive. Also, the power kit comes with a 100,000 km warranty, covering much of the engine parts.

The German based tuner Manhart Performance is celebrating 30 years of existence on the tuning market and decided to mark this special event by carrying out a daring project on a MINI Cooper JCW.

We all know that Manhart is amongst the least tuners to be interested in customizing MINIs and this one was indeed a real challenging project for the company.

This MINI Cooper John Cooper Works has received the tuner`s exquisite F300 package, meaning a power boost under the hood and a handful of mods carried out at the body style.

To properly fit the power boost, the aftermarket specialists had to take into account that the JCW is 100 kg heavier than its predecessor, so they had to replace the stock intercooler with a high-performance Wagner unit and introduce a remapped ECU.

This automatically led to a significant power boost from 231 horsepower to an impressive 300 horsepower and 470 Nm of torque.

Other noticeable changes that help the power boost refer to the fitting of a Remus stainless steel sports exhaust system with larger downpipe and valve control which reduce the backpressure and improve the engine`s sound.

Next up is the new front bumper which comes with LED daytime running lights while a reworked hood and new side skirts are available as well.

In the rear we find a new rear diffuser which adds some style while a dual-pipe exhaust system stands out as well.

According to the Japanese specialists from DuelL AG, the tuning kit is based on the R58 MINI Coupe John Cooper Works and brings no performance upgrades.

This means that the standard engine found under the bonnet is capable to produce the same amount of power, namely 207hp and 280Nm of torque.
