Not only do you get to hang out with fellow enthusiasts, but you can put your Wrangler to the off-road test and scope out spectacular new environs. Check the calendar then start packing for a memory-making excursion.

Moab, Utah

For Jeep enthusiasts, a trip to Moab, Utah – Hells Revenge, in particular — is pert-near a requirement for off-roading. After all, this is the place where, over the years, many Jeeps have been tested, and for good reason, as uber-challenging trails abound. Oh, and the views are spectacular. The Colorado River and La Sal Mountains are nearby to entrance you.

If you get the chance to point your Wrangler toward Moab, that’s an opportunity you want to take. There’s a reason it’s known as the nation’s off-road capital.

The trail is four hours in duration.

Sandstone Canyon in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, California

The trail in this magnificent desert, with its show-stopping, towering walls, comprises a myriad of rockslides, steep grades, and tight spots for putting your off-roading prowess to the test.   

Sights also include fascinating rock formations, mollusk beds from an ancient river, wind caves, and fabulous examples of tectonic uplifting. 

Time on the trail is around three hours.

Coyote Lake Trail in Sierra National Forest, California

You can do as much rock-crawling here as your Jeep Wrangler soul desires. The trail includes many clamber-worthy rocks and deep-water crossings to satisfy your off-roading jones. The two-hour run winds up in the Sierra National Forest, where you can camp out along Coyote Lake, and fish and swim.

Azusa Canyon OHV Area in San Gabriel Canyon, California

While time on the trail is short – about 10 minutes – the exhilaration you’ll experience at Azusa will persist for some time. This off-highway destination is a must if you’re serious about playing off-road.  Mud runs abound, plus there are river crossings, a hill-climb area, and various obstacle courses. In short, the canyon’s a blast.

Here’s another Utah Destination, this one marked by the pummeled sandstone layers that make up the roads, drop-dead gorgeous red rock cliffs, and canyons with protruding sharp points. This two-hour trail, which also offers serious off-roading, leads you to the state’s storied, and jaw-dropping, buttes, towers, and sandstone arches. If you want to enjoy a bananas time off-road AND bring home knock-out photos, Canyonlands National Park is the place to be.

Now that you know the best off-road places to take your Jeep Wrangler, get on out there and dirty up that ride while putting it through the paces. And take the top and doors off if the spirit so moves. You’ll have a blast climbing rocks, fording streams, and navigating through the mud. Hey, you almost have a responsibility to do this. That’s how important the lifestyle is to Wrangler’s brand, as well as to its fans.

Now, the North-American carmaker is back into the spotlights with another special ride of the Wrangler, called ‘’Call of Duty’’ Special, an exceptional off-roader with lots of heavy equipment and massive wheels.

We are looking here at custom-built green LED headlamps, roof-mounted light bar, adding as well some modification to its suspension system to cope with all kind of terrains.

The icing on the cake is the new set of wheels, signed by no other than Forgiato tuner. They are finished in black and neon green and measure no less than 26 x 14 inches, and are wrapped in 37-inch tires. Besides the catchy look, there are extremely useful on all weather and terrain conditions.

To make it the way it is today, this particular model also underwent some heavy customizations a few years ago. There are the one-off graphics on the spare tire cover or front fenders, along with bespoke front bumper with a built-in winch, locking differentials, new hood, live axles as well as two-speed transfer case.

For around $20,000, Jeep Trackhawk owners can build the perfect muscle car, with impressive power torque and whopping performance figures.

This lad seen here in the media gallery below can run like hell from 0 to 100 km/h – if you haven’t estimated yet, let us do it – just 2.8 seconds with drag rails; on the other hand, the quarter mile is done in astonishing 10.5 seconds, at a top speed of 214 km/h.

All these are possible thanks to the new power kit, comprising an ECU remapping and plenty of additional fittings under the hood.

The power stage consists of heavy mods, like upgraded fuel injectors and fuel pump, stainless steel long tube headers, bespoke high-flow supercharger bypass valve and high-flow air induction system. All these new mechanical tweaks make the Jeep Trackhawk output no less than 1,012 horsepower available at 6,500 rpm and whopping 969 lb-ft of torque, available at 4.200 rpm.

Besides the new power kit, as you can also observe in the photos below, the Jeep Trackhawk by Hennessey Performance tuner is also looking more aggressive and standout, thanks to the new wide aero kit, consisting of custom front and rear bumpers, side sills and massive blacked-out alloy wheels.

The model in question has undergone serious changes and can be had in a limited-run of just 70 units. This means that it also comes at the right price. However, this detail is for the moment unavailable.

All Mopar parts have been tested out and approved by FCA (Fiat Crysler Automobiles) and have received the go ahead, both at the exterior as well as inside.

Visually, the new Jeep Compass has been enhanced with the 19-inch alloy wheels which go hand in hand with the double patch black bonnet decal or the door sill guard wearing the “Jeep” badging. Other features also include the bespoke bumper inserts, roof rails or black rock rails.

At the exterior, the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is a real off-roader with plenty of accessories on that matter, including the ones added by Mopar – 2-inch lift kit, front and rear molded splash guards and additional lights.

Part of the Mopar One package, the 17-inch Performance Gladiator black-painted alloys and wide Hankok Dynapro tires also provide the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with an outstanding and more aggressive look, especially since it comes with the Chief Blue wrap.

Other features at the exterior that make the model stand out from the crowd also refer to the black windshield mounted light bar with halogen lights, black front grille, tubular side steps, vented hood, body-colour half doors, painted mirror caps or the black fuel filler door and Mopar badge. In the engine department, the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon by Mopar comes with a 2.8-liter engine, developing a good 200 horsepower, hooked to a five-speed automatic transmission.

In case you decide to go for the Mopar One package, then you should know that the tuner is offering it on both the two-door as well as on the four-door Rubicon variants.

As we can depict from the photos below with the car`s exterior and interior, it looks like this Jeep Wrangler was literally left to rust, yet this is what the tuner wanted to achieve in order to satisfy the fancy dreams of its owner, who is both a hunter and a sculptor.

The exterior comes with a thorough treatment, meaning the technicians from Vilner have stripped the car`s surface, leaving the body style to rust and then treated it with some special clear coats and techniques, until it came out the way it is highlighted in the media gallery. And the effect is really impressive.

Inside, the cabin has also received the same visual effects, yet the engineers using special and natural vegetable-tanned leather instead of rust trim, adding as well “Old Tobacco” vintage leather, special stitching, new metal accents, different shades of brown, as well as a set of bags for carrying the necessary equipment for the owner`s haunting sessions. Even so, the aftermarket specialist from Russian tuner Maxi Customs foreseen the potential that the Grand Cherokee SRT8 has and decided to make it even more extreme and appealing at the same time.

For that, they just needed to add a special treatment for the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 called “Tyrannos” and which involves the fitting of some head-turning body parts.

As we can depict from the media gallery below, the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 is now standing out from the crowd with an extremely wide body which enhances the SUV`s bad looks, meaning new front and rear bumpers, bespoke grille, as well as a custom rear diffuser and side skirts.

It is also the case of the below Jeep Wrangler, which has received the “Prestige Intimidator” aero kit from Voltron Motors tuning company, the model being available for sale on eBay for $59,900. Since the standard Jeep Wrangler Sport costs at least $23,995, we might consider the list of mods extremely expensive yet worth the trouble.

The new upgrade kit makes this custom Wrangler extremely intimidating with the massive aero kit, consisting of hefty customizations.

In the latest Black Edition II launched at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, the Jeep Wrangler is packing two powerful engines under the hood, like the all-new 2.8-liter turbo diesel with 200 horsepower and 460 Nm of torque.

A higher 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 unit is also available, outputting 284 horsepower and 347 Nm of torque. Both engines are fitted with a 5-speed automatic transmission.
